The Groupe Bils-Deroo, a major player in the Transport and Logistics sector, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the business assets of Transports Fosseux, a company specialised in grouping services between the Hauts-de-France region and Île-de-France, effective from 1st December 2023. Located in Courchelettes, in the North, Transports Fosseux has established itself as an expert in grouped road transport, with a fleet of 15 trucks and a turnover of 2.5 million euros in 2022.
This strategic approach aims to strengthen the transport service offerings of the Groupe Bils-Deroo, particularly in the areas of grouping and partial loads. Transports Fosseux will retain its name and identity while becoming a subsidiary of the Groupe Bils-Deroo. The company, currently based in Courchelettes, will move on 9th January 2024 to the Douai/Dorignies Industrial Zone, rue Maurice Caullery, 59500 – Douai.
This acquisition gives Transports Fosseux access to the financial and operational support of the Group, as well as a new range of transport and logistics services. Clients will benefit from extended services, including groupage, full truck loads for all of France and the BENELUX, the transport of shipping containers, by mobile boxes in rail-road, and logistics solutions such as handling, storage, order preparation, and e-commerce services.
Thomas Blot, Director of Transport Operations at Groupe Bils-Deroo, expresses his satisfaction: "We are delighted to welcome Transports Fosseux into the Groupe Bils-Deroo. This acquisition strengthens our growth strategy and our position as a regional leader in the transport and logistics sector."
The Groupe Bils-Deroo, established in Hauts-de-France for over 113 years, specialises in transport and logistics. Committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction, the group offers a complete range of services from road transport to warehouse management.
