1911 .

Gustave BILS (his real name Beyls, which became Bils by mistake), returned from the USA and settled in Sin-le-Noble.

1927 .

Marriage of Maurice BILS and Germaine DEROO and the establishment of the BILS-DEROO business in Waziers – Grocer and wholesale potato sales, in the heart of the Fosse Notre-Dame district.

1945 .

Birth of Jacques BILS, third son of the couple Maurice and Germaine BILS-DEROO. Purchase of the first American truck, marking the transition from the horse-drawn era to the automotive era.

1963 .

Purchase of the first lorry for delivering potatoes, and purchase of a licence for public goods transport.

1970 .

Construction of a fully mechanised potato packaging factory, connected by rail (40,000 tonnes of potatoes shipped to Europe annually). RENAULT, which later became a historic client of the Group, is building a factory in Douai.

1978 .

The transport activity surpasses the potato activity. Construction of a heavy goods vehicle garage (RVI) and acquisition from Charbonnages de France of the Notre-Dame mine in Waziers (5 ha). Construction of the first storage building for SOTEXO (now FAURECIA). Birth of the logistics activity.

1979 .

Death of Maurice BILS and Germaine DEROO.

1986 .

Creation of the Customs Service. Purchase of the old WIBAUT-DREUX-PROMODES platform in Sin-le-Noble. Arrival of Jimmy BILS in the company.

2013 .

Beginning of the construction of the future logistics and transport complex in Sin-le-Noble (75,000m2 of warehouse), a transport area and a dry port for shipping containers, all on 30 hectares.

2018 .

Construction of the new Administrative Headquarters.

2020 .

800,000 m² of buildings. First gas trucks and start of the North/South rail-road activity. Definition of CAP 2025.

2023 .

1 million square metres of buildings. Awarded EcoVadis bronze medal.
