The Groupe BILS-DEROO reinforces its position as a leader in logistics and transport in the Hauts-De-France region, recording an 8% growth in its turnover in 2022 compared to 2021, despite an economy affected by the geopolitical context. The Group's consolidated turnover is estimated at nearly €190 million.
The year 2022 was marked by the completion of several large-scale real estate projects that began in 2021. Notably, there was a significant collaboration with DECATHLON, a long-standing client, which included the purchase of an iconic building of 57,000 m² in DOURGES (62) on the DELTA 3 multimodal platform, and the delivery of a 75,000 m² warehouse in EVIN-MALMAISON (62). In April, SIMASTOCK will begin operations at its new site in DOURGES (62) for clients in the retail sector.
At the beginning of the year, the Group established itself in QUAEDYPRE (59) with a 5,000 m² building for a new industrial activity and initiated several building extensions that will be completed in 2023. Among them, an extension of 36,000 m² in DOURGES (62) which will bring the capacity of this site to 114,000 m², an extension of 21,000 m² in SIN-LE-NOBLE (59), and another of 6,000 m² in CUINCY (59).
The summer of 2023 will see the delivery of a 20,000 m² building in HORDAIN (59), designed as a business hotel that can accommodate up to four tenants. By the end of the year, SIMASTOCK will occupy a new site of 50,000 m² in LAMBRES-LEZ-DOUAI (59) and a 35,000 m² building in BILY BERCLAU (62) for industrial clients.
These projects add 305,000 m² to the group's capacities, bringing the total area operated by BILS-DEROO logistics to over 1,000,000 m² in the second half of 2023.
BILS-DEROO TRANSPORTS continues to strengthen its activities. A year ago, the support service "OPTIFLUX" was launched to optimise the transport flows of clients, offering rail-road solutions from DOURGES (62) to the south, with a new agency in CAUMONT/DURANCE (84).
